I wanted to create an extraordinary experience — one that extends photography beyond the flat image and into lived perception. Dancing with the Light introduces a third dimension of life into the photograph, not through digital simulation, but through traditional stereoscopic and anaglyph processes.
The intention is to draw the viewer into a more active relationship with the image, where light is not simply observed but experienced as something that occupies space. Although we rarely consider light as three-dimensional, it exists all around us, shaping form, depth, and presence in ways we intuitively feel rather than consciously see. Through stereoscopic viewing and anaglyph separation, this work seeks to make that invisible dimension perceptible — allowing light to move between the body and the viewer.
These images rely on human perception to be completed. Whether through natural visual convergence or the use of red–blue glasses, depth emerges only when the viewer slows down and engages. In that moment, the photograph shifts from a surface to an encounter.
This work is not about illusion or spectacle. It is about awareness — of space, of light, and of the body as a living form within it. Experienced at large scale on a gallery wall, my hope is that the images allow the viewer to feel momentarily inside the rhythm of light itself, rather than standing apart from it.
