Liquid Echoes

This monochromatic series explores the meditative resonance of urban waterways through poetic reflection. Focussing on the canals of Leipzig, the works reject literal documentation in favour of an architectural study of fluid light. By isolating the interaction between stoic concrete structures and the water’s surface, the images transform a utilitarian environment into a realm of transcendental calm. The high-contrast, monochromatic treatment emphasises the rhythmic geometry of the reflections, inviting the observer to find a "reflected silence" within the city's depths.
