Uranos (Hexaptych)

Uranos is a black-and-white meditation on the sky as a primordial body rather than a landscape. Referring to the Greek god of the heavens, the series moves between weight and dissolution, monumentality and vapor. Removed from descriptive color and geography, the cloud forms become archetypal: hovering, colliding, opening, withholding. These photographs do not depict weather so much as presence - the sky as an ancient, animating force. Uranos proposes the heavens not as backdrop, but as a mythic power: distant, corporeal, sublime, unstable, and endlessly becoming. At once material and spectral.
