In childhood, chasing pigeons felt natural — a spontaneous gesture of joy, a purposeless game, a moment of pure energy. A short run, a wave of the arms, and suddenly the whole world would lift into the air.
Adulthood teaches us order, control, and seriousness. It tells us not to stop, that there is no time for such gestures. And yet, beneath it all, that same need for movement and spontaneity still exists.
This photograph is an attempt to return to that moment — to a state where actions don’t need meaning, and joy requires no justification. The rushing birds are not just part of the scene, but a reflection of an inner impulse — the same one that once made us run forward for no reason at all.
Perhaps adulthood is not about abandoning childish instincts, but about having the courage to return to them from time to time.
