On rainy days in the opal fileds just outside Lightning Ridge in outback NSW, Australia, it is too dangerous to work the mines. So, the salt of the earth miners hit the local bush pubs to share a few beers and a few stories. These guys are real characters with hearts of gold, dirt under their fingernails, and down to earth personalities.
