Enchanted Water Creature

Splashed by heavy raindrops, this enchanted, body-painted water creature lives amongst the remote Jawili Falls of Tangalan in the Aklan province of the Philippines. Her sublime beauty provides an aura of calmness for those in neighboring villages who come to join her daily swims in pristine waters.

Photographed in the Philippines during the month of April 2022, this project was created by the photographer in collaboration with a renowned Southeast Asian conceptual artist/costume designer/body painter.
