Malik is a Ghanaian-American who lives in Brooklyn, New York. His family moved to New York 30 years ago for better living opportunities and to escape the civil unrest of their home country. His family started a business stocking condiments, objects and materials that are specific to the African community. This image explores preservation of tradition and culture, bringing "home" away from Home.
