Camouflage

This is a self-portrait, non-composited levitation photograph taken in a greenhouse in Fukushima, Japan, with over 700 colorful umbrellas, including Wagasa, Japanese style umbrellas, which are placed on the wall as well as the ceiling, while a small pool casts a beautiful reflection of all umbrellas. In this seemingly beautifully decorated photograph, a levitator, a man mysteriously freed from a force of gravity, camouflages amongst these colorful umbrellas. The shot is taken by placing the camera on a tripod, then using the remote control to activate the timer. Then I jump and pose mid-air as if I am floating…
