Finally. After countless attempts, it worked and the fog was exactly where I wanted it to be: only the castle protrudes from it, the entire mountain cone remains hidden underneath. The whole thing happened very early, about three quarters of an hour before sunrise, the stars were just beginning to fade and the sky showed the very first light of the morning. After that, the fog sank significantly.
