Light in Clouds

Chinese Culture University is located on Yangmingshan in Taipei, near Yangmingshan National Park. In the night or after rain in the spring and summer, the campus becomes shrouded in mist, resembling a city in the sky. At night, the city lights shine through the clouds with a glassy luster, as if in a fairyland.

The university’s traditional Chinese-style architecture, set against this misty backdrop, combined with the skyscrapers of the Taipei metropolitan area and the mountain peaks beyond, creates a unique sense of depth and layering.
