Flight in Dusk's Embrace

This image was captured on a hilltop in Santa Ynez, California, during a photography workshop. The sun was still fairly high, so I asked one model to gallop her stallion across the hilltop while a large oak tree blocked the sun, allowing for a magical glow on the subjects. The powerful Andalusian stallion galloped in full warhorse style while his rider gracefully posed, her expression leaving much to the imagination.
