Photography has been quietly following me for decades — a persistent dream I couldn’t afford to pursue. For years, financial constraints held back my ability to explore this passion or share my vision with others. Only recently have I been able to acquire the tools I need and finally dive into the work that has always called to me. Submitting my images now is more than participation — it’s a way of saying: this matters, this is real, this is not for nothing. I am a teacher by profession, a mother by essence, a refugee by fate — and a photographer by choice and by soul.
