Dr. Catherine Riddle retired from a research scientist career at Idaho National Laboratory after 26 years of service in radiochemistry. Catherine now has the opportunity to follow her lifelong love of photography that began when she was 13 years old with a borrowed 35mm Canon camera from her school as her family could not afford one for her. She had some of her photos used in local news papers and for events in Bloomington, MN where she grew up. She continued to embrace photography winning awards over the years in local, U.S., and international competitions even during her career in nuclear science as a researcher and inventor. Now in retirement, Catherine has the opportunity to go back into photography fulltime and she travels the country with her husband searching for the perfect photos which speak to her and tell a story to all who see them.
